Scholarship
Sigma Kappa is committed to providing an atmosphere in which members can experience social activities while still achieving academic excellence.
Education is Sigma Kappa’s top priority and each chapter uses a scholarship program to motivate and help members get the best out of their education while in college. The Zeta Kappa chapter uses a variety of methods to help its members achieve and exceed their academic goals.
Members receive study hours based on their GPA from the previous semester.
A scholarship banquet is held in the fall to recognize members who have excelled academically.
Awards at this banquet include: best big/lil sis GPA, most improved GPA, and highest new member GPA.
Throughout the semester, whenever a member receives an “A” on a test or quiz, the member may submit her name into a drawing to receive a Victoria Secrets gift card.
